FAQ

Do you shoot destination weddings?

Yes! I have traveled to different states to photograph destination weddings several times! I would love to travel to another country to take epic wedding photos, as well!

There are travel and accommodation fees associated with photographing destination weddings, which would be discussed before I sent you a contract.

Will there be a second shooter?

My package prices only include 1 shooter, however there is an option to add a second shooter for the price of $75/hour (4 hour minimum).

Can I extend the session on the day of?

Absolutely! For the primary photographer only, the price would be $250/hour for each additional hour. To keep 2 photographers, it would be $325/hour.

How soon can I expect my photos?

For Portrait photos, your images will be ready for download within 30 days from your session.

For Weddings, your images will be ready for download within 60 days from your wedding. Any prints that may be included in your package are processed by the developer as quickly as possible and shipped directly to you for convenience.

Boudoir photos are ready for download within 30 days.

If you need your photos sooner than these timeframes, I offer a Rush Fee (determined by the turnaround time you require.)

What payment methods do you accept? When are my payments due?

I accept cash, check, credit/debit card, Apple Pay or Venmo payments.

For any non-wedding session, payment in full is due at least 1 day prior to your session date.

For weddings, 50% of your total is due upon signing your contract. This is a retainer that reserves your wedding date on my calendar and is non-refundable, but will be applied to your balance. The remainder of your balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding date.

Do I have to order prints through you?

No. While your personal image gallery makes ordering high-resolution prints and products from professional printing labs hassle-free, you will receive a print release for any digital downloads included in your package, and/or any purchased digital downloads.

I strongly encourage you to print your high-resolution images through a professional lab, and not places like Walgreens, Wal-Mart, etc. Sarah Salmon Photography cannot be held responsible for any poor image quality if photos are not printed by the preferred labs I have recommended and linked to your gallery. Also, when downloading for print, please download the high-resolution images to a computer; do not try to print images from your phone.
